Sebastian Schultheiß

Researcher

Sebastian Schultheiß, M.A., works as a researcher and lecturer at the Department of Information, Media and Communication at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. His research is centered around user studies on information behavior. In collaboration with Humboldt University of Berlin, Sebastian is pursuing his doctoral research project, which aims to examine how search engine marketing affects user knowledge gain.

Sebastian obtained his M.A. degree in Information, Media, and Library in 2019 and his B.A. in Library and Information Management in 2016 from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany. Before his studies, he completed an apprenticeship as a Specialist in Media and Information Services at the German National Library of Economics (ZBW).
