LibRank: Neue Formen der Relevanzsortierung in bibliothekarischen Informationssystemen
Im Projekt LibRank, einem Kooperationsprojekt mit dem ZBW Leibniz-Informationszentrum Wirtschaft, haben wir untersucht, wie neue Ansätze zur Ergebnisbewertung in Bibliothekssuchsystemen eingesetzt werden können. Dabei haben wir uns vor allem auf die Einbeziehung von Popularitätsfaktoren wie die Anzahl der Zitationen und die Anzahl der Downloads konzentriert. Unsere groß angelegte Evaluierung der verschiedenen Ranking-Ansätze ergab, dass es keinen einzigen besten Weg gibt, Ergebnisse in Bibliothekssuchsystemen zu ranken, und dass Popularitätsfaktoren die Rankings aus Sicht der Nutzer nicht wesentlich verbessern.
